Grounded in frontline inpatient and outpatient care across the lifespan, she supports workforce development and leadership training in Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Loraine also serves the City of Martinez as its Cultural and Diversity Officer (Diversity Commissioner), where she advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion—principles that are deeply meaningful to her. Carrie Roden is a Specialist Consultant at Mayeda Consulting, where she supports counties and community-based organizations across California in designing and strengthening Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports programs under CalAIM. Her work includes program development, Managed Care Plan applications, and grant writing for both new and established initiatives.
Carrie specializes in creating practical, peer-centered tools that help organizations honor lived experience while meeting CalAIM expectations. Her approach focuses on pairing the strengths peers already bring — trust, engagement, and credibility — with clear role design, supportive supervision, and accessible documentation practices that protect peer identity and promote collaboration across teams.
With a background in education and nonprofit work, Carrie brings a grounded, teaching-oriented lens to workforce development. She partners with organizations across California to strengthen peer roles, support authentic engagement, and build sustainable programs that center clarity, respect, and real-world implementation.

Melissa Virostko, LCSW
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from San Francisco State University and a Master's in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley. Specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, and perinatal mood disorders, Melissa uses Trauma-Informed Care and Mindfulness to support teens, adults, and couples. She also works with first responders and resource parents in Santa Cruz County.

Driven by a commitment to fostering equitable systems and community advocacy, Josie’s approach is rooted in Intensive Psychology from UC Santa Cruz. Their community-centered research and participatory frameworks provided key insights for their work in clinical and educational settings. With years of frontline experience managing high-acuity caseloads in Full Service Partnership programs, supporting foster youth placement stabilization, and teaching in elementary classrooms, they bring practical expertise. Fluent in English and Spanish, Josie uses their lived experience as a non-binary, queer, and mixed-race individual to challenge systemic inequities. At Mayeda Consulting, they manage projects, facilitate client collaborations, conduct staff interviews, and develop bilingual content to elevate marginalized voices. Supporting Latino and Trans communities is both professional and personal for Josie, who aims to create sustainable change through data, relationships, and a passion for cross-cultural connection and language learning.
